Bobby Deol’s Bandar Gets New Release Date, Box Office Clash With Yash’s Toxic

Bobby Deol starrer Bandar will now release on June 5, 2026. The film was earlier set for May 22, but the date has now been changed.

Another box office clash is set for June. Bobby Deol’s upcoming film Bandar has got a new release date and will now arrive in cinemas on June 5, 2026.

The film was first planned for May 22. But that weekend already had other releases lined up, including Hai Jawaani Toh Ishq Hona Hai and Chaand Mera Dil. To avoid too many films releasing together, the makers decided to shift the date.

Now, with the new release plan, Bandar will come just one day after Yash’s much-awaited film Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown Ups. This means both films may compete for audience attention at the same weekend.

Bandar stars Bobby Deol in the lead role. The film is directed by Anurag Kashyap and produced by Nikhil Dwivedi under Saffron Magicworks. Zee Studios is backing the release.

The film also features Sanya Malhotra, Sapna Pabbi, Saba Azad, Indrajith Sukumaran, Jitendra Joshi, Raj B Shetty and Nagesh Bhosle.

The script has been written by Sudip Sharma and Abhishek Banerjee, who are known for shows like Paatal Lok and Kohrra.

For Bobby Deol, this will be another major release after Animal, where he was seen in an important role. In the last few years, he has returned strongly with films and streaming projects.

With the date now locked, all eyes are on June 5 to see how Bandar performs at the box office, especially with Toxic releasing at the same time.
