About DPIFF News

DPIFF News is the official news and editorial publication platform of the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival (DPIFF). It covers Indian cinema, international cinema, filmmakers, actors, film festivals, awards, film releases, entertainment, OTT and streaming developments, short and independent cinema, and other significant developments across the film and entertainment industry.

DPIFF News publishes original editorial coverage, reported stories, interviews, features, explainers, industry updates and official announcements relevant to its readership.

Editorial Responsibility

DPIFF News operates under the editorial responsibility of the DPIFF Editorial Desk. The Editorial Desk oversees editorial standards, publication decisions, factual accuracy, corrections, ethical compliance and the overall integrity of published news content.

Individual articles may be attributed to named journalists, editors or contributors. Where a named author is responsible for an article, the article displays the author's name and links to an author profile containing relevant professional information.

Some institutional announcements, newsroom notices or content produced collectively by the publication may be attributed to the DPIFF Editorial Desk rather than an individual writer.

Authors and Byline Transparency

DPIFF News uses clear and identifiable bylines for editorial articles where an individual journalist or editor is responsible for the work. Author names are displayed on article pages together with publication dates and, where applicable, updated dates.

Source selection depends on the subject, availability of evidence and editorial context. Where information originates from another publication, organization, individual or public source, DPIFF News seeks to provide appropriate attribution where relevant.

DPIFF is a film festival and awards organization and may report on subjects connected with its festival, awards, nominees, participants, partners, events and related activities.

Final editorial responsibility remains with the responsible human author, editor and DPIFF Editorial Desk. DPIFF does not intentionally publish fabricated quotations, invented sources or false information generated by an automated system.

Corrections, Clarifications and Updates

DPIFF News recognizes that factual errors can occur despite reasonable editorial verification. When a material factual error is identified, DPIFF reviews the matter and may issue a correction, clarification, update or retraction as appropriate.

Material corrections and significant editorial changes may be identified within the affected article so readers can understand the editorial history of the content.

When new and relevant information becomes available, an article may be updated. Publication dates are not intentionally changed merely to make an older article appear newly published.
