Varun Dhawan in Discussion for Operation Sindoor, First Collaboration with Vivek Agnihotri Likely

There is a new development around Varun Dhawan and his next film.

After taking a short break, Varun Dhawan is now looking at new projects. One of the films he is currently in talks for is Operation Sindoor, which Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri will direct.

Talks for Lead Role

As per reports, Varun Dhawan has been offered the lead role in Operation Sindoor. He has shown interest in the project but has not signed it yet. He is expected to hear the full script soon. A final decision will be taken after that.

If this happens, it will be the first time Varun Dhawan and Vivek Agnihotri will work together.

Back to Work After a Break

Varun Dhawan had taken some time off to be with his daughter. Now, he is meeting writers and directors again to lock in his next film.

Reports say he is planning to start a new project by mid-2026.

Multiple Projects in Discussion

Apart from Operation Sindoor, Varun is also in talks with producer Bhushan Kumar for other films.

He is currently preparing for the release of Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, which is scheduled to release on 22 May.

Recent Work and Next Steps

Varun Dhawan was last seen in Border 2 along with Sunny Deol. The film brought him back into a different space compared to his earlier roles.

With Operation Sindoor, he may explore a new direction, all depending on the final script and his decision.
