Welcome To The Jungle Title Track Brings Back Akshay Kumar, Firoz Nadiadwala And Ahmed Khan After 19 Years
The title track of Welcome To The Jungle has been released, bringing together Akshay Kumar, Firoz Nadiadwala, Ahmed Khan and singer Shaan after 19 years. The song revisits the music and spirit associated with the original Welcome title track from 2007.
The makers of Welcome To The Jungle have released the film’s title track ahead of its theatrical release on June 26, 2026. The song has caught attention as it reunites key members of the team behind the original Welcome title track nearly two decades later.
Akshay Kumar, producer Firoz Nadiadwala, singer Shaan and choreographer-director Ahmed Khan have come together once again for the new version of the title track. The original Welcome, released in 2007 and directed by Anees Bazmee, featured Akshay Kumar, Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Paresh Rawal and Mallika Sherawat. Over the years, the film became one of the most recognised comedy franchises in Hindi cinema.
The new song features several members of the film’s ensemble cast, including Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Paresh Rawal, Arshad Warsi, Aftab Shivdasani, Disha Patani and Jacqueline Fernandez. The track also hints at Akshay Kumar appearing in a double role, something that is expected to play a part in the film’s storyline.
Directed by Ahmed Khan, Welcome To The Jungle is the third film in the Welcome franchise. The title track aims to connect the new film with the earlier instalment while introducing the larger cast and setting of the upcoming story.
Speaking about recreating the title track, Ahmed Khan said that reuniting with Akshay Kumar and Firoz Nadiadwala brought back memories of working on the original song. He added that the new version was designed to reflect the film’s humour, confusion and large ensemble cast while retaining the identity associated with the Welcome franchise.
The release of the title track comes after the teaser generated discussion online. With the film scheduled to arrive in cinemas on June 26, the makers have started building momentum through music and promotional material.
