Welcome To The Jungle: Marudhar Acquires Overseas Deal

Welcome To The Jungle is set to release in June, and work around the film’s business deals has now picked up. Reports say Marudhar is in talks for the overseas rights, while JioStar has secured key domestic rights.

With less than two months left for release, the makers are now closing important distribution deals before the film reaches cinemas.

According to reports, Marudhar is discussing the overseas theatrical rights of Welcome To The Jungle. A recent public notice related to the film’s overseas rights also created attention. Sources say the deal could be completed before the end of this month.

On the domestic side, JioStar has reportedly taken the Indian theatrical rights through its Disney distribution arm. Along with cinema release rights, the company has also secured the satellite and OTT rights.

This means that after its theatrical run, Welcome To The Jungle is expected to release on JioHotstar and later air on Star network channels.

The film has a large cast featuring Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez and Disha Patani.

The film is directed by Ahmed Khan and is scheduled to release in cinemas on June 26, 2026.

With the release date getting closer and rights deals moving ahead, the film is now starting its next phase before reaching audiences.
