Vrushakarma Release Date: Naga Chaitanya’s supernatural adventure thriller to hit big screens on December 4, 2

Vrushakarma, the supernatural action-adventure headlined by Naga Chaitanya, will release on December 4, 2026, after a new poster was unveiled on social media. Chaitanya shared the poster with the caption, “A mythic spectacle unfolds Vrushakarma on 04.12.26.”

The film teams Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead, with Sparsh Shrivastava portraying the primary antagonist. Jayaram and Zarina Wahab are also part of the key-roles lineup for this large-scale mystical action-adventure.

Karthik Varma Dandu directs Vrushakarma, with production from BVSN Prasad (Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra) and Sukumar (Sukumar Writings). The story is penned by Sukumar, while Neil D’Cunha handles cinematography. B. Ajaneesh Loknath composes the music, and Navin Nooli is the editor.

Initial chatter suggested a Dussehra 2026 window, but the project now targets a year-end release. Reportedly, Zee Network has secured the film’s satellite and OTT rights for a substantial amount, underscoring Vrushakarma’s wide distribution plan.

Nagarjuna Akkineni recently offered a glimpse of his milestone project, tentatively titled King100, which is slated to release toward the end of the year as well, on December 24, 2026.

Naga Chaitanya’s recent work includes Thandel, where he stars opposite Sai Pallavi. The romantic action thriller follows Raju, a fisherman who drifts into Pakistani waters, exploring his passion for fishing and his relationships. The film also features Aadukalam Naren, Divya Pillai, Karunakaran, Kalpa Latha, and Babloo Prithiveeraj in supporting roles. Thandel is based on a real-life incident involving a fisherman from Srikakulam.

Looking ahead, Chaitanya is currently filming Dhootha Season 2. Created by Vikram Kumar, production has commenced with a pooja ceremony. Priya Bhavani Shankar and Parvathy Thiruvothu reprise their roles from the first season, while Chaitanya makes his producerial debut with the series.
