Toxic Release Date Postponed: Yash Announces New Global Release Plan
Yash’s upcoming film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups will no longer be released on June 4, 2026. The makers have shifted the release to a new date as they work on a wider worldwide launch.
The release date of Yash starrer Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has been changed once again. The film was earlier scheduled to release in theatres on June 4, 2026. Now, the makers have confirmed that the film will arrive on a new date, which will be announced soon.
According to the official statement, the decision was taken after the film was presented at CinemaCon. The response from global distributors and industry members opened new opportunities for a larger international release.
Because of this, the team has decided to realign the release plan and focus on worldwide distribution before announcing the next date.
The makers also confirmed that the film is complete. At present, they are working on finalising international partnerships and distribution deals so the film can be released across multiple markets together.

Yash also shared a note with fans and said that some films become more than just projects. He said Toxic has been one such journey for him.
He mentioned that the response at CinemaCon supported their belief that the film should reach audiences worldwide at the right scale. He added that the team is now making sure the film gets the release it deserves.
Yash further said that Indian cinema is growing globally, and everyone connected to films has a responsibility to raise the standard. As an actor and producer, he wants to do his part by taking time to release the film properly.
He thanked fans for their support and patience. He also promised that Toxic will be a film people can enjoy and celebrate.
Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups stars Yash along with Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth and Tara Sutaria.
The film is written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas, and directed by Geetu Mohandas.
It has been shot in Kannada and English, and will also be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
The film is produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations. The new release date will be announced soon.
