Tom Hanks, Tim Allen and the Toy Story 5 Cast Recreate a Heartwarming Moment at the Film’s UK Premiere

Disney and Pixar’s highly anticipated animated adventure Toy Story 5 is set to arrive exclusively in theatres on 19 June, and the cast and crew recently kicked off promotions with a star-studded UK premiere at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square in London.

Tom Hanks (voice of Woody), Tim Allen (voice of Buzz Lightyear), Joan Cusack (voice of Jessie), and Greta Lee (voice of Lilypad), along with the creative team behind the film, attended the special event.

During the screening, the atmosphere turned nostalgic and heartwarming as Tom Hanks invited his co-stars on stage to recreate one of the film’s awe-inspiring moments, delighting fans and bringing the beloved Toy Story magic to life.

The toys are back in Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5, and this time it’s Toy meets Tech. Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie and the rest of the gang’s jobs are challenged when they come face-to-face with Lilypad, a brand-new tablet device that arrives with her own disruptive ideas about what is best for their kid, Bonnie. Will playtime ever be the same?

Toy Story 5 is directed by Academy Award®️ winner Andrew Stanton (“WALL•E,” “Finding Nemo,” “Finding Dory”), co-directed by Kenna Harris (“Ciao Alberto”), produced by Lindsey Collins (“Turning Red,” “WALL•E,” “Finding Dory”), and features an original score by Academy Award®️ winner Randy Newman who returns to score his fifth “Toy Story” feature.

The film releases exclusively in theatres in India on 19th June 2026 in English and Hindi.
