Khalnayak Returns: Sanjay Dutt Confirms Vaastav 2, Requests Rajkumar Hirani for Munna Bhai 3

Sanjay Dutt has confirmed that Vaastav 2 is in development. At the Khalnayak Returns launch event, he also requested filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani to make Munna Bhai 3.

At the launch event of Khalnayak Returns in Mumbai, actor Sanjay Dutt shared updates that have caught the attention of fans. During the event, he confirmed that work is currently going on for Vaastav 2.

When asked if sequels to some of his most loved films like Vaastav and Munna Bhai could happen, Sanjay Dutt said, “We are working on Vaastav 2.”

He also spoke about the Munna Bhai franchise and said, “For Munna Bhai, you’ll have to ask Raju Hirani. Raju, please make Munna Bhai again!”

The event also marked the official announcement of Khalnayak Returns. Sanjay Dutt revealed that he will be producing the sequel to the 1993 film Khalnayak under his banner, Three Dimension Motion Pictures.

Filmmaker Subhash Ghai, who directed the original Khalnayak, was also present at the event. He shared memories of working with Sanjay Dutt from their early films and spoke about the actor’s journey in cinema.

Subhash Ghai said many stars wanted to be part of Khalnayak, but he had already decided to cast Sanjay Dutt. Responding to this, Sanjay Dutt joked that the filmmaker never narrated the story and simply told him to do the film.

With Khalnayak Returns announced, Vaastav 2 confirmed, and talks around Munna Bhai 3, Sanjay Dutt fans now have multiple reasons to be excited.
