Ram Charan’s PEDDI becomes Hombale Films’ first overseas distribution project
PEDDI starring Ram Charan is now the first film to be distributed internationally by Hombale Films. The company, known for films like KGF, Kantara and Salaar, has now entered the overseas distribution business with the upcoming release.
The film is directed by Buchi Babu Sana and is scheduled to release in theatres on June 4, 2026. The project has been in discussion since its announcement, mainly because of Ram Charan’s new screen look and the film’s rural action backdrop.
The music of the film has been composed by A. R. Rahman. This is the first collaboration between Ram Charan, Buchi Babu Sana and A. R. Rahman.
Over the last few years, Hombale Films expanded its reach with Kannada, Telugu and pan-Indian releases. The company gained wider recognition after the success of the KGF series and later continued with films including Kantara and Salaar.
With PEDDI, the banner is now handling international distribution directly instead of partnering with outside distributors in overseas territories.
Reports around the film also mention that the makers are planning a large-scale overseas release across markets where Indian films have seen steady box office growth in recent years, including the United States, Gulf countries, Australia and parts of Europe.
Apart from PEDDI, Hombale Films also has projects including Salaar 2 and KGF 3 in development. The production house is also working on a film with Hrithik Roshan.
