Prabhas’ Fauzi gets December 3, 2026 release date; new poster offers first look at the film’s world

After Kalki 2898 AD and The Raja Saab, Prabhas is now preparing for another big-screen release. The makers of Fauzi have officially announced that the film will release in cinemas on December 3, 2026. Along with the release date, they also unveiled a new poster that gives a glimpse of the film’s setting.

The poster shows Prabhas sitting on a rock with a gun in his hand, surrounded by fallen soldiers. Covered in blood, he is seen in the middle of a battlefield. The poster also carries the tagline, “A Battalion Who Fights Alone.” Sharing it on social media, Prabhas wrote, “अज्ञातपर्व ENDS. #Fauzi on 3rd DEC 2026.”

Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, Fauzi is set against the backdrop of the British Indian Army before India’s independence. The film marks Prabhas’ return to the period genre after the Baahubali franchise and is expected to tell a story set during a different chapter of Indian history.

The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and presented by T-Series Films. Producers Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravi Shankar and Bhushan Kumar are backing the project.

Fauzi also brings together two names that have delivered some of the biggest films in recent years. While Hanu Raghavapudi received recognition for Sita Ramam, Mythri Movie Makers have produced films including the Pushpa franchise.

Prabhas was last seen in The Raja Saab, which released earlier this year. Before that, he appeared in Kalki 2898 AD, one of the highest-grossing Indian films. With Fauzi now locking its release date, the actor’s upcoming line-up also includes Spirit, The Raja Saab 2 and Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam.

Fauzi will release worldwide on December 3, 2026.
