He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe Final Trailer Out Ahead Of June 5 Release

The final trailer of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe has been released ahead of its theatrical release on June 5, 2026. The film stars Nicholas Galitzine as Prince Adam/He-Man and is directed by Travis Knight.

More than four decades after He-Man first became a part of popular culture through Mattel’s toy line and the animated series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (1983), the character is returning to cinemas with a live-action adaptation.

The makers have released the final trailer of He-Man and The Masters of the Universe, offering a closer look at the story, characters and the world of Eternia before the film’s release on June 5.

Directed by Travis Knight, the film follows Prince Adam, played by Nicholas Galitzine, who returns to Eternia after spending years away from his home. Armed with the Sword of Power, Adam is called upon to face Skeletor, the longtime enemy seeking control of Eternia.

The trailer introduces key characters from the franchise, including Teela, played by Camila Mendes, and Duncan, also known as Man-At-Arms, played by Idris Elba. Jared Leto takes on the role of Skeletor, while Alison Brie is also part of the cast.

The Masters of the Universe franchise began in 1982 as a toy line created by Mattel before expanding into television, comics and films. The animated series that followed introduced audiences to Eternia, Prince Adam and his transformation into He-Man through the famous line, “I Have The Power.” Over the years, the franchise has remained active through multiple animated adaptations and spin-offs.

The upcoming film brings the story back to the big screen nearly four decades after the 1987 live-action Masters of the Universe film starring Dolph Lundgren.

Produced by Amazon MGM Studios, the new adaptation presents Prince Adam’s journey as he returns to a kingdom facing a threat from Skeletor. As Eternia stands at a turning point, Adam reunites with his allies and takes on the responsibility of becoming He-Man.

He-Man and The Masters of the Universe will release in India on June 5, 2026, in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. The film will also be available in IMAX and other premium formats.
