Hanuman Ansh Box Office: Devotional drama collects RECORD Rs 86.50 crore in Week 5, crosses Rs 150 crore mark

Hanuman Ansh, the devotional drama, remains a durable draw at Indian theatres as it enters Week 5 with a strong hold. On its fifth Thursday, the film added Rs 9.25 crore to the tally, pushing Week 5’s cume to Rs 86.50 crore nett at the Indian box office—the highest since release. The five-week running total now stands at Rs 156.60 crore nett in India. The film has shown a 48% jump from the previous week, underscoring sustained audience interest.

The film is currently running about 2.5 times the performance of the earlier release Dhurandhar, which added Rs 43 crore nett after its fifth week. If the trend continues, industry observers say the film could reach around Rs 263 crore nett, with Rs 300 crore nett considered a possible upper target.

Industry chatter describes Hanuman Ansh as a “super blockbuster” with one of the highest returns on investment (ROI) in the history of Indian cinema. The movie was produced on a modest budget of around Rs 2 crore, and while digital rights have not yet been sold, profits could be accentuated if distributors renegotiate sharing terms after the third week, potentially adding Rs 20–30 crore in shareholder value.

The film’s near-term schedule now includes a new release, Haiwaan, which, given current trends, is unlikely to pose a significant threat to Hanuman Ansh at this juncture. The box office overview remains subject to market conditions and future trends, with the numbers in this article representing analytical tracking figures rather than final, certified tallies.
