Gram Chikitsalay Season 2 Gets Release Date, To Stream On Prime Video From This DATE

Fans of Gram Chikitsalay won’t have to wait much longer. Prime Video has officially announced that Season 2 of the rural comedy-drama will premiere on June 23, 2026.

Produced by TVF and directed by Lalitam Tiwari, the series continues the story of Dr Prabhat, a young doctor trying to improve healthcare services in the fictional village of Bhathkandi. While the first season showed his struggle to win the villagers’ trust, the new season picks up from there and brings fresh challenges as he works to revive the village’s Primary Health Centre.

Amol Parashar, Akash Makhija, Anandeshwar Dwivedi, Vinay Pathak, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor and Garima Vikrant Singh return to their roles, while actor Dinesh Lal Yadav joins the cast this season.

Speaking about the show’s return, Prime Video India’s Head of Content Licensing, Manish Menghani, said audiences are increasingly connecting with stories set in rural India. He added that the response to the first season encouraged the team to bring back the show with more emotion, humour and social themes.

Director Lalitam Tiwari said the aim has always been to present village life in a realistic way. 

According to him, the new season explores not just healthcare challenges but also the relationships, struggles and everyday experiences that shape rural communities.

Since its debut, Gram Chikitsalay has found an audience for its simple storytelling and relatable characters. Season 2 will continue that journey when it starts streaming on Prime Video on June 23.
