Drishyam 3: Mohanlal film to start with a USA premiere, global release on May 21

Drishyam 3 will have its first screening in the USA on May 20, before releasing worldwide on May 21. The film stars Mohanlal and is directed by Jeethu Joseph.

Big news for Mohanlal admirers: The next part of the Drishyam story is ready for release.

Mohanlal will return as Georgekutty in Drishyam 3. The film is directed by Jeethu Joseph.

The makers have announced that the first show of the film will take place in the United States. It will start at 7:30 pm PST on May 20. After this, the film will release worldwide on May 21. The date also marks Mohanlal’s birthday.

According to reports, within a limited time, hours after bookings opened, the film crossed one thousand dollars in pre-sales. 

The story continues from the earlier parts. It follows Georgekutty and his family after the events shown in Drishyam 2. The first film released in 2013.

In this part, the film is expected to focus more on the family and the impact of past events. The teaser shows Georgekutty dealing with fear and the outcome of his decisions.

The film brings back the main cast. Meena returns as Rani. Esther Anil and Ansiba Hassan play the daughters. The supporting cast includes Murali Gopy, Siddique and Asha Sharath.

Music is by Anil Johnson. Cinematography is handled by Satheesh Kurup and editing by Vinayak VS.

The film is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under Aashirvad Cinemas. It is presented by Pen Studios and Panorama Studios.
