Box Office Roundup: Raja Shivaji, The Devil Wears Prada 2, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, Bhooth Bangla And More

Several films continued their run in theatres this week, with historical dramas, sequels, horror comedies and biographical films showing different trends at the Indian box office.

Raja Shivaji

Holds Steady In Third Week

Raja Shivaji continued its theatrical run in its third week. The film earned Rs. 1.45 crore on Day 15, according to Sacnilk. On Day 14, the film had collected Rs. 1.90 crore.

The total India net collection of the film now stands at Rs. 78.40 crore, while the India gross collection is around Rs. 92.81 crore.

Directed by Riteish Deshmukh, the film is based on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Riteish also plays the lead role in the film. The cast includes Genelia D’Souza, Vidya Balan, Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan and Salman Khan.

The film was released on May 1, 2026, under Mumbai Film Company and Jio Studios.

The Devil Wears Prada 2

Nears Rs. 26 Crore

The Devil Wears Prada 2 collected an estimated Rs. 0.39 crore net on Day 15 in India. The film’s total India net collection now stands at approximately Rs. 25.83 crore, while the India gross collection is around Rs. 30.40 crore.

The sequel has maintained collections mainly in multiplexes and metro cities. The film follows a fashion and media-based storyline connected to characters from the earlier film.

Pati Patni Aur Woh Do

Opens With Rs. 3.85 Crore

Pati Patni Aur Woh Do opened with Rs. 3.85 crore net on Day 1. The film was released across more than 6,800 screens in India.

According to reports, occupancy in several cities remained low during morning and afternoon shows. In national cinema chains like PVR, INOX and Cinepolis, the film sold around 19,400 tickets on the opening day.

The film is a sequel to Pati Patni Aur Woh, which had opened with Rs. 9.10 crore during its theatrical release.

Bhooth Bangla

Continues Run After One Month

Bhooth Bangla collected Rs. 0.49 crore live on Day 30. The film has now reached an India net collection of Rs. 165.54 crore, while the India gross stands at Rs. 196.28 crore.

Directed by Priyadarshan, the film stars Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Mithila Palkar, Wamiqa Gabbi and Tabu.

The story follows a man who inherits a palace in Mangalpur and later begins investigating paranormal incidents linked to the property.

Krishnavataram Part 1: The Heart

Crosses Rs. 15 Crore

Krishnavataram Part 1: The Heart earned Rs. 0.73 crore live on Day 10. The film’s India net collection currently stands at Rs. 15.45 crore, while the gross collection is Rs. 18.28 crore.

Directed by Hardik Gajjar, the film stars Siddharth Gupta, Sanskruti Jayana, Sushmitha Bhat and Nivaashiyni Krishnan. The film tells a story inspired by the journey of Lord Krishna.

Michael

Maintains Run In India

Michael collected Rs. 0.51 crore live on Day 23. The India net collection stands at Rs. 57.33 crore, while the India gross total is Rs. 68.56 crore.

Directed by Antoine Fuqua, the film is based on the life of Michael Jackson. The cast includes Jaafar Jackson, Miles Teller, Laura Harrier and Nia Long.

The film follows Michael Jackson’s journey from his early years with the Jackson 5 to his solo music career.
