Arpita Khan Corrects Salman Khan’s Reverse Aarti; Iulia Vantur Joins Ganpati Visarjan

Arpita Khan corrected Salman Khan’s reverse aarti during Ganpati Visarjan at Sohail Khan’s residence on Tuesday, a moment captured as Salman arrived to a warm welcome from nephew Arhaan Khan and was greeted by his niece Ayat. Iulia Vantur was also present at the celebration and later participated in the aarti.

A video from the celebrations shows Salman performing the aarti when Arpita called out, saying “bhai.” He didn’t seem to hear her amid the loud chants, so she stepped in to correct him, prompting a lighthearted reaction from the star. Salman was later seen showing his niece Ayat the correct way to perform the aarti.

Iulia Vantur joined the Khan family for the ritual, appearing in a yellow anarkali suit while Salman kept his look casual in printed jeans, a matching jacket, black T-shirt and a black beanie. He was later photographed catching up with his stepmother Helen and other guests.

The visarjan ceremony took place within Sohail Khan’s building premises, with a large water tank arranged for the immersion. Arhaan Khan was spotted helping with the ritual.

On the work front, Salman has a pair of high-profile projects in the pipeline. He will headline Maatrubhumi, directed by Apoorva Lakhia and produced by Salman Khan Films, with Chitrangada Singh co-starring. He is also set to feature in Dil Raju’s yet-untitled project, directed by Vamshi Paidipally and co-starring Nayanthara. That film is scheduled to hit theatres on Eid 2027.
