Aamir Khan Gears Up For Massive Lagaan Reunion; Entire Team To Reunite After 25 Years

Aamir Khan is preparing for a special celebration as his iconic film Lagaan completes 25 years this month.

According to reports, the film will be re-released in theatres on June 12, ahead of its 25th anniversary on June 15. To mark the occasion, Aamir is also hosting a grand reunion party in Mumbai on June 13. The event is expected to bring together the entire Lagaan team, including cast members, crew, and others who contributed to the film’s making.

Sources say the actor is looking forward to reconnecting with everyone involved in the project and revisiting memories from one of the most important films of his career.

Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, Lagaan told the story of villagers in British-era India who challenged colonial officers to a cricket match to avoid paying taxes. The film went on to become one of Indian cinema’s most celebrated productions and received an Academy Award nomination in the Best Foreign Language Film category.

The report also claims that Aamir is currently in Los Angeles with Gauri Spratt and is expected to return to India soon. It further states that the couple plans to marry on July 5.

On the professional front, Aamir’s production venture Batwara is scheduled for release on August 13 and features Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta, Shabana Azmi, and Ali Fazal, among others.
