‘Aakhri Sawal’ Makers Planning Delhi Premiere On May 13; Politicians And Public Figures To Attend
The makers of Aakhri Sawal are reportedly planning a large premiere event in Delhi on May 13, just two days before the film releases in theatres on May 15.
According to reports, the premiere is expected to see the presence of several politicians, bureaucrats and known public figures from different fields. The event has already started creating conversations in Delhi’s political and social circles, with many well-known names reportedly being invited for the screening.
The film stars Sanjay Dutt, who was recently seen in the Dhurandhar films. Aakhri Sawal was earlier supposed to release on May 8, but the makers later pushed the release ahead by one week.
The film has been directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Abhijeet Mohan Warang. Reports suggest the story looks at the history and journey of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh through a cinematic format, which has already made many people curious about the project.
One of the biggest things being discussed around the film right now is its accessibility feature. Aakhri Sawal is reportedly becoming the first Hindi feature film to release in Indian Sign Language as well. The move is being seen as an effort to make films more accessible for a larger audience.
The project is presented by Nikhil Nanda and produced by Nikhil Nanda along with Sanjay Dutt. The film is also co-produced by Puneet Nanda, Deepak Singh, Gaurav Dubey and Ujjwal Anand.
The story, screenplay and dialogues for the film have been written by Utkarsh Naithani.
With its Delhi premiere plans, political interest around the film and its sign language initiative, Aakhri Sawal is slowly becoming one of the most talked-about releases arriving this month.
