Tamannaah Bhatia named face of Joy Personal Care’s lotion and cream range

Tamannaah Bhatia has been named the face of Joy Personal Care’s lotion and cream portfolio, with the partnership led by the Honey & Almonds Deep Nourishing Body Lotion.

The association will see Tamannaah feature in a multi-platform campaign spanning television, digital and social. the original Bollywood Hungama report explains the campaign’s scope.

Sunil Agarwal, co-founder and chairman of Joy Personal Care (RSH Global), described the partnership as an important step in strengthening the brand’s presence in the lotion and cream category and in connecting with a new generation of consumers.

He also highlighted the Honey & Almonds Body Lotion’s role within the portfolio, saying the Tamannaah association gives the product an opportunity to build on its existing equity while bringing a fresh perspective to the category, with a continued focus on quality, relevance and affordability for Indian consumers.

Poulomi Roy, chief marketing officer of Joy Personal Care (RSH Global), said the campaign’s thinking centers on challenging narrow beauty standards and encouraging women to embrace their individuality rather than conform to a mould. She noted that Tamannaah brings the philosophy to life through her individuality and journey.

Tamannaah added that beauty can have different meanings for different people and that she has learned to embrace that perspective and enjoy the journey rather than chasing perfection, a mindset she felt aligned with Joy Personal Care’s approach.

On the work front, Tamannaah Bhatia is currently riding momentum from her recent release The Vvaan, co-starring Sidharth Malhotra and an ensemble cast. It hit cinemas on September 25. She is also balancing her career as an entrepreneur with her jewellery line.
