Hanuman Ansh crosses Rs 205 crore, demolishes sixth-week box-office record in 3 days

Hanuman Ansh has crossed Rs 205 crore nett at the Indian box office and, in the process, demolished the all-India sixth-week box-office record in just three days, according to DPIFF’s release data. The previous sixth-week benchmark was Kantara with Rs 37 crore nett, a figure this film surpassed in a single weekend.

During the just-completed sixth weekend, Hanuman Ansh earned Rs 49.50 crore nett approx, making it the biggest weekend of the run so far and pushing past the Rs 46.50 crore nett posted in the fifth week.

Cumulative total now hovers around Rs 205 crore nett. The breakdown from the trade data shows Day Nett Week One: Rs 0.90 cr; Week Two: Rs 0.45 cr; Week Three: Rs 10.25 cr; Week Four: Rs 58.50 cr; Week Five: Rs 85.00 cr; 6th Friday: Rs 10.00 cr; 6th Saturday: Rs 18.50 cr; 6th Sunday: Rs 21.00 cr; Total: Rs 204.60 cr.

Occupancy last Sunday was in the 70–75 percent range, versus around 50 percent on the following day, suggesting some stabilisation in demand. Industry observers note that the holiday could keep hold strong over the next two days, with Wednesday expected to offer the first real indication of stabilisation, DPIFF’s entertainment news coverage notes.

All figures cited are trade estimates and not final accounting statements. They reflect the ongoing run and are subject to revision as distributors’ tallies are finalised.

If current trends hold, the lifetime total could finish north of Rs 300 crore nett, though actual numbers will depend on further audience turnout and regional factors.
