Yash Raj Films (YRF) Appoints New Leader for its Talent Management Business; Arjun Banerjee to Head the Division

Yash Raj Films (YRF) has announced a new leadership appointment for its talent management business. The studio has hired Arjun Banerjee as the new Head of YRF Talent, the division that manages actors and helps build their careers beyond films.

The move comes as managing talent has become a big part of the entertainment industry. Management companies today are not only involved in helping actors choose films, but also in brand endorsements, digital projects, public appearances, international collaborations and long-term career planning.

Arjun Banerjee brings years of experience in this space. Before joining YRF, he worked with Collective Artists Network, where he handled talent partnerships and artist management. Earlier, he spent nearly ten years at Exceed Entertainment, taking up leadership roles across the company’s talent and live entertainment businesses. During his time there, he worked closely with artists and was involved in expanding the company’s live events and new business initiatives.

At YRF, Banerjee will now oversee YRF Talent and work closely with the artists represented by the company. He will report to Akshaye Widhani, Chief Executive Officer of Yash Raj Films.

Announcing the appointment, Akshaye Widhani said the entertainment business is changing quickly, making talent management more important than ever. He added that Arjun Banerjee’s experience and understanding of the industry will help YRF Talent continue to grow while creating more opportunities for its artists.

Over the years, YRF Talent has built a roster that includes actors from different stages of their careers. The company currently represents Rani Mukerji, Ayushmann Khurrana, Sonam Kapoor, Vaani Kapoor, Sharvari, Ahaan Panday, Aneet Padda and Shreya Chaudhry.

Yash Raj Films, founded by filmmaker Yash Chopra in 1970, is one of India’s leading film studios. Along with producing and distributing films, the company has expanded into music, streaming content, visual effects and talent management. Through YRF Talent, the studio works with actors on projects across films, digital platforms and brand partnerships.

With Arjun Banerjee in charge of the division, YRF is expected to continue building up its talent management business while supporting both established names and emerging actors in the industry.
