Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival 2026 has announced its Top 50 Short Films, selected from entries across the world. The list includes different types of stories and filmmaking styles.

The Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival has revealed its Top 50 Short Films for 2026. These films come from different parts of the world and cover a mix of genres like social stories, drama, thriller, and comedy.

Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival continues to honour the legacy of Dadasaheb Phalke, the Father of Indian Cinema. The festival maintains its aim of supporting new filmmakers and giving space to their work, carrying forward the legacy of Dadasaheb Phalke.

Thousands of entries were received this year. From these, 50 films have been selected by a panel of industry members. The selection is based on storytelling, concept, and execution.
