Release Fees: INR 10,000/-

  1. For Submission of Short Film: Visit www.dpiff.in Go to “Release” tab, open the submission form, fill in the details and upload your Short Film, Music Video, Documentary, Animated Film or Feature Film.

  3. Make Payment: Pay a onetime fee* of INR 10,000/- through our secure payment gateway.
  4.  
  5. Get Featured: Once approved, your Project will be premiered on our YouTube channel and promoted across our social media platforms.

 

*Note: The Release Fees payment does not guarantee the release. If the jurors do not see fit to release the Short Film, Music Video, Documentary, Animated Film or Feature Film then the Project will not be released and therefore the payment will be fully refunded.

By submitting my Short Film, Music Video, Documentary, Animated Film or Feature Film to Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival (DPIFF), I, the undersigned Applicant, hereby agree to the following terms and conditions:

 
  1. 1. Ownership and Rights:

    • – I confirm that I am the sole copyright owner of the submitted Short Film, Music Video, Documentary, Animated Film or Feature Film (“Project”) and have full legal authority to grant permissions as outlined in this agreement.
    •  
    • – I grant DPIFF the non-exclusive, royalty-free rights to upload the video on DPIFF’s official YouTube channel.

    2. Fair Usage Rights:

    • – DPIFF holds the sole rights to use the Project and its associated creatives for any promotional purposes across social media platforms without any restrictions from the maker.
    •  
    • – DPIFF has the complete authority to determine the upload and deletion of the Project from its YouTube channel at its discretion.
  3.  

    3. Promotional Activities:

    • – I acknowledge that DPIFF may use excerpts, screenshots, and stills from the Project for marketing, advertising, and promotional purposes.
    •  
    • – I understand that the Project may be included in DPIFF’s promotional activities, including but not limited to social media shoutouts, blog features, and any other marketing initiatives.

    4. Warranties and Representations:

    • – I represent and warrant that the Project does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other legal rights of any third party.

    • – I confirm that all necessary permissions, licenses, and consents have been obtained for any third-party content included in the Project.

    5. Indemnification:

    • – I agree to indemnify and hold harmless DPIFF, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from the breach of any representation, warranty, or agreement made by me in this consent form.

    6. Governing Law:

    • – This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined in this Consent and Release Terms.

    The DPIFF Release Program is an exclusive opportunity for filmmakers & artists to premiere their project on Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival’s official YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@dpiff

     

    2. What are the benefits of participating in the Release Program?

    Participants will receive guaranteed views, an Instagram shoutout, a dedicated blog post about their Project and its maker, a golden frame for the YouTube thumbnail, and a recommendation certificate from DPIFF.

     

    3. How much does it cost to release a Short Film, Music Video, Documentary, Animated Film or Feature Film with DPIFF?

    The release fee is INR ₹10,000

     

    4. How can I submit my Short Film, Music Video, Documentary, Animated Film or Feature Film for release?

    To submit your Short Film, Music Video, Documentary, Animated Film or Feature Film, visit [dpiff.in/release](https://dpiff.in/release), upload your Project, and complete the submission form. Once approved, you can proceed with the payment of the release fee.

     

    5. What happens after I submit my Short Film, Music Video, Documentary, Animated Film or Feature Film?

    After submitting your Short Film, Music Video, Documentary, Animated Film or Feature Film and paying the release fee, it will be reviewed by the DPIFF team. Upon approval, your Project will be premiered on DPIFF’s YouTube channel, and you will receive the benefits outlined in the program.

     

6. Can I upload my Short Film, Music Video, Documentary, Animated Film or Feature Film on my own YouTube channel before or after releasing it with DPIFF?

Yes, you retain the rights to your Short Film, Music Video, Documentary, Animated Film or Feature Film and can upload it on your own YouTube channel before or after its release with DPIFF.

 

7. Will DPIFF promote my Project after its release?

Yes, DPIFF will promote your Project through various channels, including social media shoutouts, blog features, and promotional activities.

 

8. How long will my Project be available on DPIFF’s YouTube channel?

Your Project will remain on DPIFF’s YouTube channel indefinitely unless DPIFF removes it.

 

9. Is there a deadline for submitting my Short Film, Music Video, Documentary, Animated Film or Feature Film for release?

There is no specific deadline for submitting your Short Film, Music Video, Documentary, Animated Film or Feature Film. Submissions are open year-round.
