About the Filmmaker: Indira Baikerikar
Indira Baikerikar is an athlete-turned-filmmaker and founder of Sweekaar Productions Pvt. Ltd. in Mumbai. She made her directorial debut with The Second Wind, a heartfelt feature about four women athletes that explored second chances in life.
She trained in theatre and documentary filmmaking, then launched her first film. The Second Wind premiered at Cannes Marché du Film in 2025, showcasing her belief in the power of transformative storytelling. JOBA is her second project, a more intimate and emotional film.
