At Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival (DPIFF), we value transparency, professionalism, and clarity in all our operations. Please review our detailed cancellation policy prior to making any submissions, purchases, or commitments through our platform.
No Cancellation after Submission:
Once a short film, documentary, or other project has been submitted and the entry fee has been paid, cancellations are not permitted. DPIFF does not entertain requests for withdrawal or cancellation of entries after payment, regardless of the reason or circumstance.
No Cancellation after Purchase:
All event ticket purchases (including festival passes, award ceremony tickets, workshops, or any event-related registrations) are considered final. Once purchased, tickets cannot be cancelled, refunded, or transferred to another person or event.
Force Majeure/Unforeseen Circumstances:
In the rare event that DPIFF cancels or reschedules an event due to circumstances beyond our control (such as natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or other force majeure events), DPIFF will communicate an alternative solution, such as rescheduled dates, digital access, or credit towards future events. However, monetary refunds will not be offered unless explicitly announced.
No Order Cancellations:
Orders placed for DPIFF merchandise, memorabilia, or other physical products are processed immediately and cannot be cancelled or changed once the payment is completed.
Defective or Wrong Product:
In the unlikely event that you receive a defective or incorrect product, you must notify DPIFF within 48 hours of delivery, providing photographs and order details. DPIFF will, at its discretion, arrange for a replacement or credit, subject to product availability and verification.
Note: Merchandise purchased is otherwise non-returnable and non-cancellable.
No Cancellation or Refunds:
All payments made towards event sponsorships, official partnerships, or membership application fees are final and non-cancellable. Once a sponsorship or partnership agreement is confirmed and payment is made, it cannot be cancelled, and no refund or transfer will be provided.
Change of Event Format:
Should DPIFF, at its sole discretion, alter the format, venue, or mode of the event (e.g., switch from in-person to virtual), sponsors and partners will be informed in advance. No cancellations or refunds will be processed due to such changes.
Third-Party Processing:
All payments made through www.dpiff.in are securely processed by third-party payment gateways (such as Razorpay). DPIFF does not store any sensitive payment details (such as credit/debit card numbers). For cancellation or refund requests related to payment gateway errors, users should contact the payment gateway directly.
Duplicate/Accidental Payments:
In rare cases of duplicate or accidental payments, users must notify DPIFF at info@dpiff.com within 48 hours, providing transaction details and supporting documentation. DPIFF will review such cases on an individual basis, and its decision will be final.
Policy Acknowledgement:
By making a submission, purchase, or sponsorship payment on www.dpiff.in, users acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to this cancellation policy.
Policy Updates:
DPIFF reserves the right to update or amend this cancellation policy at any time without prior notice. Updated policies will be posted on our official website.
Jurisdiction:
All matters relating to cancellations, disputes, or legal proceedings will be governed by the laws of India and shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai.
If you have any questions or require further clarification regarding this cancellation policy, please contact our official team at info@dpiff.com. Our team will be happy to assist you within 2–5 working days.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. DPIFF is committed to providing a transparent and professional experience to all filmmakers, participants, partners, and stakeholders.
