AGASTYA SHORT FILM

The film begins by introducing us to Agastya, a 14-year-old boy with hemiplegic cerebral palsy, who has been nurtured by his parents in a nature-friendly environment. Unlike many of his peers, Agastya is not addicted to mobile phones or gadgets, but instead, he finds solace and joy in the beauty of the natural world around him.Tragedy strikes when Agastya’s parents pass away, and he is forced to move in with his uncle and aunt. Their son, Ritwik, is a stark contrast to Agastya – a temperamental child who is deeply addicted to technology and the digital world.

As the story unfolds, Agastya’s unwavering spirit and innovative, nature-centric ideas begin to have a profound impact on Ritwik. When Ritwik’s life is saved by Agastya’s quick thinking and environmental solutions, it sparks a transformation within him, motivating him to become a Chief Development Officer.

Through his new role, Ritwik embarks on a mission to change the consumerist and tourism-centered system, using an environment-centric approach to developing pilgrimage corridors. This shift in perspective not only benefits the local communities but also serves as a testament to the power of Agastya’s influence and the importance of a nature-based approach to development.
