About “Animal Day”
In this heart-warming tale, a wealthy dog named Luna sets out on a mission to advocate for the fair and equal treatment of all dogs around the world. Luna, pampered and privileged, lives in luxury, but his upbringing has instilled in him a deep sense of empathy and compassion for his fellow canines. When he witnesses the stark disparities in how dogs are treated based on their circumstances, Luna decides to use his influence and resources to make a difference. Through his journey, Luna encounters dogs from all walks of life—strays, working dogs, and pets—and learns first-hand the challenges they face.
Driven by a desire to promote kindness and care towards animals, Luna becomes an ambassador for the cause, advocating for better living conditions, access to veterinary care, and humane treatment for all dogs. His efforts extend beyond advocacy as he actively engages with communities, raises awareness about animal welfare issues, and inspires others to join his mission. Luna’s story is a poignant reminder of the importance of empathy and responsibility towards animals, urging us all to take proactive steps to ensure their well-being and dignity in our society.
From the Director’s pen
I am really excited to learn that my films have been nominated in the short film category at the prestigious “Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival”.
The encouragement a filmmaker receives for numerous days of hard work is worth every minute of blood and sweat.
I believe that through the medium of films I can convey socially relevant messages to today’s youth and try to make this world a little bit better .
I thank the jury and the team at Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival for their encouragement and commit to continue making path breaking films towards society upliftment and do my bit for India.
