As the story unfolds, the interview between Mr.Guhan and Mr.Mark Jairam leads to intriguing facts on the species who invented the fire. It is revealed later that the three homo erectus fossils(2 million years old) found at the research site and the three friends(Agnesh, Sachith and Vish-representing Brahma, Vishnu and Maheshwara-The cause of universe and existence) of the NGC reporter Mr.Mark Jairam have some unique connection when Mr.Guhan meets the trio unexpectedly.
SYNOPSIS:
Two stories happen at two different Settings and Eras, one story is of an Anthropologist ( played by Mr Abhinav Roop/Mohammed Ali Pogaku) researching Homo Erectus Species from fossils found in a Site at Java Island, Indonesia. An NGC Reporter, Mr. Mark comes to Interview the Anthropologist about the findings at the excavation site. During the course of the interview, they connect the situation to the Homo erectus way of inventing fire.
After a month, Mark meets Mr. Guhan back in India to further know the results of the Site findings. They both end up in a party at Mark’s friends’ residence. Mr. Guhan after meeting Mark’s Three (3) friends hallucinates of the visuals of the three skeletons of the Homo Erectus Found at the Site in Indonesia.
During the Party they face a situation. They couldn’t cook food due to lack of fuel/gas in the kitchen, they try to produce fire and search for a different source to cook the food, they struggle and struggle and finally produce the fire.
In Parallel another story happens 2 million Years ago, which shows how the Homo Erectus struggle to finally invent fire.
Continuous flashes and intercuts of shots between these two Eras and different situations between these two Eras to establish and convey audience the Author’s/Director’s view of how humanity’s inventions are becoming the doom to human’s own civilization and not every invention happens because of necessity but some happen by accident and curiosity.
This movie conveys the rationale that necessity need not be the mother of invention, sometimes it is laziness or idleness that makes the greatest inventions possible as quoted by Agatha Christie.
